This drama is about a married couple, Min Suk and Mi Young, who have known each other for 20 years (since childhood). One day Min Suk meets a woman whom he falls deeply in love with. He steadily becomes irritated with his plain wife and his bored married life. He carries on his affair with a younger, attractive woman. Then one day, Mi Young learns of his affair. She knows that she might lose him, so she tries in all her power to keep him. However, he throws away his wife and children to chase his teenage-boy dream of lust for his mistress. He acknowledges to his wife that he married her based on friendship only and that he's never known love until het met that other woman.... He tells his wife that he only cares for his wife as a friend. Min Suk abandons Mi Young and she's forced to start her life over from rock bottom.

My heartfelt thoughts about A Second Proposal.
This is one of my favorite dramas.  It's a beautiful story about life that changes course. This is a perfect example of the ups and downs of life. I cried a lot in this drama because I could connect emotionally with each character. 

I hate women like Yung June (the bitch mistress) because of one scene where Mi Young was at her rock bottom, she was in tears begging her husband to help her at the airport and Yung June made him leave Mi Young.  I swear, this moment made me so angry and made me so sad at the same time. I cried out loud, I felt like punching her husband and pulling out Yung June's hair.

Overall, this is the story of Mi Young starting her life over after so many years she spent loyal to her husband. He never loved her as a wife, but only as a friend. And when he left her, he walked away without regrets as if she never existed on this planet.  It was cut throat cold.... so cut throat cold.  He was so tender to his new wife and forgot the one who had been by his side through thick and thin.

Mi Young cried many tears, she also fell into the darkest moment in her life when things just couldn't get any worse, she meets the one person she never expected to be her guardian angel.  This in so many ways, touched me personally.  I think there are many people in our lives that watch over us, but we are too stubborn and blind to notice the little things they have done to enrich our lives.  I hope that this story will touch you as it touched me.

Mi Young She's been a housewife and stay at home mom for over 10 years. She is a very good cook and loves her husband. She has a kind heart and loves her children very much. Life hasn't been treating her very good and she ultimately reaches the pivotal moment in her life when she hits rock bottom.

Min Suk He's been a good husband until he met Yung June. Her young looks and popularity captivated his heart. After a one night stand with Yung June, he becomes obsessed with her like a teenage boy in love. He forgets about his responsibilities of being a husband and father. He will throw away his past to obtain Yung June as his future.

Yung June - THE ULTIMATE BITCH I really hate her. Of all the dramas I've seen, I hate no one more than her. Enough said.

Kyung Soo He was the dorky neighbor next door to Min Suk and Mi Young. He jobhops often and is kind of goofy. However, after seeing Mi Young depressed and stranded, he is concerned of her welfare and befriends her. He becomes the best friend and guardian angel that Mi Young never anticipated. I really love his character and charm.
