HOW TO PLAY THE FILE using Windows Media Player
9 Series
For use with Totuta's wmv and smi files. (be
sure to save both files in the same folder)
First:
Open up Windows Media Player 9. On the tools menu, select Options.
Next, the Option Menu should pop up. (looks like the picture below)
Navigate to the tab called File Types.
Click the Select All button and then click Apply.
Then click Ok.
Next click Play from the menu, then select Captions
and Subtitles, be sure that the captions are turned
On if Available - the language depends on what your settings
are. (make sure that Off is not selected)
Lastly, click on View and make sure that you are in Full
Mode, otherwise the captions will not appear.
Click File, Open and browse to where you saved your
*.wmv file. Play and enjoy!
HOW
TO PLAY THE FILE using Windows Media Player XP
Follow the same instructions
as above with the slight modifications:
To get to the captions settings, click
the View drop down list and select Now
Playing Options.
From here, select Captions and make sure that the captions
are turned On.
How do I know which Windows Player I have?
Click on the Help drop down list and select
About Windows Media Player. It should tell you which version
you are currently running.
